I somehow ended up painting this rainy picture during some of the hottest days of the year so far! I don’t cope well in hot weather so I must’ve been secretly longing for some rain!

Started this out by dripping layers of different shades of blue and then applied gesso over this to the umbrella shape. Have started  another similar painting with pink and orange drips this time but won’t get back to that for a week – off to France on hols tomorrow! Hopefully get to do some painting while I’m there! 😁
